In the last 15 years, the internet was changed a lot, step from be a platform where you could found accurate information of a lot of thing, to being an interactive platform that keeps the people connected while one was in Asia and the other one in America, they can interchange contents in thing of seconds.
In the beginning the internet treat of web sites that in each one you can found information about accurate things. Now in only one web sites you can find information about a lot of things, interact, give opinions and download multimedia content, etc. The social media was a clear example of this new platforms, there you can be connected, update information, share contents, and interact with people of all around the world.
From other side, all this advances in the connectivity generate a dependence of the people with their technologic artifacts, transforming people in exclaves of their cell phones. Despite the all the benefits that the web 2.0 brings, that being transform in a distractor of the daily works and the physical communication between people, making the actuality an age of virtual connectivity, little interest of create links between the closest and a comfortable lifestyle.
The benefits that the web 2.0 brings to the tourism industry treat about of have more information about the different places, searching the best prices and comfort in the lodging, have knowledge of the attraction and commercial places that you can find in the sites that you visited, making this way easier the planification of a travel and the different activities that you can do in the long of time that you will be in the place.

In conclusion, the web 2.0 are so benefiter to the tourism industry, since, that give you time to know what to do, how much money you need to spend and where you can stay. This will make everything on your trip been as you want.
